All the three brothers Sardar Gurdayal Singh, Sardar Rajinder Singh, Sardar Tajinder Singh are actively involved in social work through various cultural organisations. After the devastation of the Super Cyclone in October 1999, Mr. Gurdayal Singh was closely involved along with a social organisation from Punjab that set up mass kitchens in Jagatsinghpur and Ersama and fed thousands of people for nearly twenty days.

Kalamandir has been doing community services where it has helped weaker section of the society distributing cycle rickshaws, blankets and saving certificates.
